As we start the summer driving season, we will present a series of tips to save money while driving this summer.

Our first tip: slow down!  Most cars are designed to have maximum fuel efficiency at around 100 km/h.  Above that speed fuel economy decreases.

So, when you are going on a long trip, drive in the slow lane, and if possible set your cruise control at around the speed limit.  You will save lots of gas, and lots of dollars, over the course of the summer.  You will also find your drive is less stressful, because you are not in a hurry to get there, and you are saving lots of money.
