Credit Cards: Cut Them Up

It’s great to have a plan and pay off one of your credit cards.  Once you do that: cut it up!

There is no point in paying off a credit card, and then have it sit there, empty, to tempt you.  You may just return to your bad habits and rack it up again.  Avoid the temptation: cut it up so you can’t use it.

Even better, once it’s paid off, call the credit card company and cancel it.  Once it’s canceled and cut up, you will never use it again.
