We assume that because a computer is scanning your groceries at the checkout it never makes a mistake. Not true. Computers are only as accurate as the inputted data, so it is not unusual for prices to be incorrect. Keep an eye on your purchases as they are being rung through, and notify the cashier if you are overcharged. You can also review your receipt, and point out any errors to save money.
