It’s the summer. As the old joke goes, there are only two seasons in Canada: winter, and July. That’s a bit of an exaggeration, but there is no doubt that summer is short, so when it finally arrives, we spend as much time outside as possible. We take walks, go for bike rides, or have a coffee or drink outside.
Because we are outside, we are spending a lot less time watching television. So here’s today’s tip: cut your cable or satellite service during the summer. Contact your service provider and reduce your service to basic cable for the summer. Cancel all of your sports and movie channels that you won’t be watching anyway. Save money.
Then, when the cold weather returns, if you really missed those stations, call your service provider and turn them on again. By doing this you save money during the summer, and only pay for channels you actually watch during the winter.
