Credit Counselling , also known as Debt Management Plans, is a way for you to repay your creditors in full, without going bankrupt.

Ms. Heather Cudmore. Heather is a credit counsellor with many years experience working to help people deal with their money problems. She is currently the Credit Counselling Director at Catholic Family Counselling in Kitchener, Ontario, a not-for-profit counselling agency.

Even though it's called Catholic Family Counselling, the agency is non-denominational; they are a professional counselling agency that has been helping children, individuals and families since 1952.

Heather Cudmore explained the process known as credit counselling, also known as a debt management plan.

A debt management plan is a service provided by accredited credit counsellors. These are non-profit agencies created to help individuals experiencing financial distress. Debt Management Plans work best for people with credit card and bank debt, and they are best for people with jobs who want to repay their debts.
